Unfortunately, most of the sites you will find are nothing more than simple ploys to get you to sign up and become a new lead for their MLM business.   1. Choose Positive Thinking.
    Focus your thoughts, ideas and actions on wholesome, upbeat themes. Wearing a smile makes you look better, sound better when you speak, and live longer. What you think about, you bring about, so if you're not concentrating on good thoughts and making an effort to focus on the positive in every situation, you may encounter a lot more resistance and hardship than necessary.
     
  2. Believe in yourself.
    The most common self-fulfilling prophecy was best stated by Henry Ford: "Whether you think you can or you can't, you're right." If you don't believe in yourself, there is little hope of your succeeding. Belief is highly undervalued as a trait of people in general, and it helps immensely in network marketing to act always as if you are already successful.

Plus, by continually learning and increasing your vocabulary, you'll not only appear more informed, you'll be more confident.

    Websites are the modern equivalent of books, and search engines are your gateway to finding them. When you make the committment to devote more time to personal development, you'll find yourself being interested in many more topics and a wider range of interests. Use your favorite internet search engine to find people, articles and resources that support your personal mission.

    Public speaking is among the top things people fear more than anything else. Write a personal mission statement or a short story that is at least 2 or 3 paragraphs, then memorize it. Start by looking yourself dead in the eye in the mirror and practice saying it, then move onto recording it with a video camera, webcam or cellphone. It will feel uncomfortable at first, but then you'll become more at ease. Evaluate yourself and strive for improvement with each retake. When you feel up to trying it with other people, start simply by complementing people or saying something nice to others in the grocery store or coffee shop. What you do outside of work is probably as important, if not more important than what you get paid to do, wouldn't you agree?

    If you don't know yourself, your likes and dislikes, you may start off down a path and realize it's not for you, causing you to turn back, start over, waste time and expend energy unnecessarily. Make a list of all of your favorite things, topics, hobbies, interests, places and people. Chances are there is a home-based business opportunity that relates to your list.

    One overlooked fear people have is the fear of change.
